Shenzhen X-CAN is an AI edge computing company focused on video IoT. We help integrators, distributors and end users turn ordinary surveillance cameras into intelligent sensors.
Our story
Founded by engineers who were tired of systems that only recorded.
Most surveillance systems answer one question after the fact: what happened? We build systems that answer a far more useful one: what is happening right now, and what should someone do about it?
XCAN AI started with a simple observation. The world already has hundreds of millions of cameras, but almost none of them think. Cloud analytics promised to fix that, but bandwidth, latency, privacy and connectivity limits kept it out of reach for most real projects.
So we put the intelligence on the edge. Our AI boxes analyse video on site, run dozens of algorithms at once, and work even when the network does not. Today our appliances are deployed in factories, schools, kitchens, communities, highways and city projects - and we are still shipping new algorithms every month.
